High quality honey from honeydew secretions produced in the pine forests of northern Evia in Greece.
Not only it contains fewer calories compared to flower honey but also it doesn't crystallize easily and it is not very sweet in taste either.
Its colour varies from pale when produced in spring-summer (thick honey) to darker when produced in autumn.
Pine honey is considered as a highly nutritious type of honey, something which is indicative of its high ash content.
This is mainly due to the large number of different substances found in Greece’s pine trees.
Pine honey is rich in metals and minerals (e.g. calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, etc.) which render it to be an excellent medicine for stomach disorders.
Storage: Keep in a cool and dry place
